Found this Craigslist ad the other night while at work. A very honest man is selling this fully stock "1983" RX-7 for just $1250. Pretty cheap but that's because last summer it developed a rod knock... Yes, a rod knocking RX-7! Lol.

Kinja'd!!!

He claims it is an 83 but that looks like an SA and not an FB. Anyways here's some of the description:

has been sitting for a year, developed rod knock last summer. needs rebuild, stock engine... 3 bride racing seats, 5 pt harness included. bun in the oven, need the money for minivan.

And click !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to see the ad.

Nothing like seamlessly switching from auto to true manual on the fly!

Truly the best of both worlds. AT for that boring commute stuck in stop and go traffic, and MT for fun in the twisties or track day!

Thanks, but no thanks. As an ex-rotary owner I learned one important tip, buy the cleanest RX7 you can get because if you don't have enough space to work in your tiny garage and that you have rust...you gonna cry.
